Korea University Business School (KUBS) (https://biz.korea.ac.kr/en) is hiring for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in International Trade and Finance, starting as early as March 1, 2025. The position is open to all areas of International Economics, with primary responsibilities including high-quality research and teaching international business-related economics courses in undergraduate, MBA, and MS/Ph.D. programs.
A Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is required. ABDs may apply if the degree is granted by the appointment date.
The appointee is expected to publish in top-tier journals (our list of top-tier journals is close, yet not identical, to the one compiled by UTD and Financial Times), with teaching responsibilities set at two courses per semester (six credit hours), though new faculty receive a reduced load. All classes are taught in English.
KUBS, located in Seoul and accredited by AACSB and EQUIS, is Korea’s oldest and largest business school, with about 90 full-time faculty members. The school offers a competitive salary, and provides housing and education support for foreign faculty for up to three years.
