Position Description
Chung-Ang University (CAU) Theoretical High Energy Physics Group anticipates to hire a CAU postdoctoral fellow, with appointment starting from September 1, 2025.
The position is awarded for one year by the approved grant of National Research Foundation in Korea, and it is extendable for one more year, depending on funding situation and research performance. Candidates with research interests in dark matter, inflation and early cosmology, and physics beyond the Standard Model, are encouraged to apply.
The current group in CAU THEP is composed of Prof. Hyun Min Lee, three postdoc fellows and five graduate students. Prof. Hyun Min Lee is the director of the CAU High Energy Physics Center, which is composed of other CAU professors working on experiments on dark matter and neutrinos, gravitational waves and intensity beams. We also host the Brain Korea Four program for supporting young scientists in CAU. We are closely tied to Theory department in CERN, KIAS, IBS, other universities and institutes in Korea.
