QUC Fellow positions in Computational Quantum Many-Body Theory at Korea Institute for Advanced Study
As the first research institute for basic sciences in the nation, Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) was founded in 1996 by Korean Government to promote excellence in the basic science research. Located in Seoul, KIAS provides a unique research environment, where its members as well as visitors can enjoy constant academic stimuli and friendly administrative support.
Quantum Universe Center at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) invites applicants for the postdoctoral QUC Fellow positions(* Equivalent to Assistant Professor in Universities) in research areas below.
[ Computational Quantum Many-Body Theory]
(1) Classical and quantum algorithm for Computational Many-body Theory
(2) Theory and Computation of Correlated Quantum Materials
Applicants are expected to have demonstrated exceptional research potential, including major contributions beyond or through the doctoral dissertation.
The initial appointment for QUC Fellow Positions(* Equivalent to Assistant Professor in Universities) is for two years with the possibility of a one-time renewal of two or three additional years, depending on the research performance and the needs of the research program at KIAS.
